The Thrive Approach

R

Transformative

Thrive! programs take you on a journey.  Wherever you start on the mental health continuum between mental illness and flourishing or thriving, you will move forward.

R

Holistic

The brain does not function in isolation from the rest of the body, and we don’t function in isolation from others, or our environment.  Nutrition, environmental factors, relationships and connection, all impact our mental health and wellbeing.

R

Responsive

The absence of mental illness is not the same as mental thriving or flourishing.   Thrive! has been designed to give people the opportunity to be the very best that they can be by building their resilience and maximising their potential through values and strengths-based living.

R

Illuminating

Learn to understand the reasons for thinking, feeling and behaving the way you do and explore aspects of yourself that may have been hidden or previously unknown to you.  Using a number of clinically tested exercises and activities, you will be guided through a journey of discovery that’s all about YOU.  It’s as though you get to reconstruct yourself –  piece by piece – until you have created the very best YOU that you could ever have imagined.

R

Validated

We started with the question Why?  Why is there so much depression and anxiety around at the moment, and why is it continuing to grow?  Why are so many people not responding to conventional treatment?  Why are sufferers becoming younger and younger? The course materials used in Thrive! are scientifically validated.  You will also feel that your own unique experiences, thoughts and feelings will be validated throughout the program.

Many years of research and clinical testing into what impacts our mental health and what it is that contributes to happiness and meaning in our lives has been the basis of all of our products and services.

R

Empowering

It places YOU at the centre of your own recovery and development and teaches you the skills and knowledge that will assist you in making choices that are right for you.

Benefits of Working With Us

It's Holistic

The brain does not function in isolation from the rest of the body, and we don’t function in isolation from others, or our environment.  The role of nutrition, environmental factors, relationships and connection, all impact our mental health and wellbeing.

It's Empowering

It places YOU at the centre of your own recovery and development

We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach.  Our approach allows people to engage with the information and strategies proven to be effective in a way that resonates and acknowledges personal preferences.

l

It's Evidence-Based

We started with the question Why?  Why is there so much depression and anxiety around at the moment, and why is it continuing to grow?  Why are so many people not responding to conventional treatment?  Why are sufferers becoming younger and younger?

It's Not Just About Risk Minimisation

The absence of mental illness is not the same as mental thriving or flourishing.   Thrive! has been designed to give people the opportunity to be the very best that they can be by building their resilience and maximising their potential through values and strengths-based living.

It's Culturally Sensitive

Based on the work of the father of Positive Psychology, Dr Martin Seligman, Thrive! is based on character strengths and values that research has shown to be common to many different cultural, religious and philosophical traditions around the globe.
